Poor customer service and professionalism..... - INTERLOCK DEVICE
My husband had lifesafer installed and after a few months got a letter that they where no longer servicing our area. He went to another vendor and had another device installed. He took the unit to another lifesafer installer and returned the unit (they didn't give any type of receipt) and now they are threatening to turn us over to a collection agency, have him re-do all of his probation and cost and have his license revoked. The original dealer closed down so he had to return it to another one. They want $1,000.00 for the unit. He has called several times (and they were all very rude) only to be told that they couldn't just take his word for it being returned and that his license were revoked. He called DMV to be told that they weren't, thank the Lord. He made a trip back to the dealer that he returned it too only to be told that they didn't remember him and the unit would have been sent back already. They throw all of the returns in boxes without any paperwork. The guy went through some of the boxes and couldn't find my husbands, however, it had been a couple of months since he returned it. While my husband was in the business another lady came in having the same problems, however, she was lucky as they hadn't sent her's out and found hers. What a living nightmare this has been. I will be contacting the BBB and the state's attorney's office to file a complaint. Why would anyone in their right mind want to keep the product???? The other company that he is currently using is cheaper and even though he has had some problems with the unit itself they have never charged him to reset it. I truly believe this is a scam to get more money. Every time we have called he gets the same run around. I'm sure we will end up having to pay for something that WAS returned so that my husband can keep his license. I hope that somehow, someway this company is investigated for it's unprofessional behavior!!
